Contemporary Paintings in Oils

 
As an artist painting mostly in oils, I am primarily interested in colour and its properties. I enjoy exploring different colour relationships - not just the literal translation of what I see. Landscapes provide endless motifs for vibrant colour experiments, while both the natural and man made structures in the landscape- buildings, trees, and even fencing posts, produce strong dynamic shapes to aid composition.
